Patricio Gómez Sabaini has a Bachelor of Business Administration graduated from George Mason University, Virginia, May 1988 and a Master of Business Administration graduated from George Washington University, Washington DC, January 1991.
From May 2005 to date he is the executive director and partner of the private equity fund Sur Capital Partners (SCP). He is currently a member of the board of directors of Audiomusica, Inmobiliaria Barcelona and Aguada Park SA.
He was a member of the board of companies of the investment portfolio of SCP: BO Packaging, (packaging company in Chile and Peru), El Tejar Ltd (agricultural company with operations in Brazil and Bolivia), TIBA (satellite services company for the cable in Latin America), Integramedica (a leading company in the health sector in Chile), Nortel (telecommunications holding company and owner of Telecom Argentina) and Aerodoc, a logistics company based in Miami, USA.
From May 1999 to 2004, Patricio Gómez Sabaini was Managing Director for Latin America at General Electric Capital – GE Equity – in charge of the private equity investment portfolio in the region. Previously, he worked at the Santander Río bank in the investment banking area and in the treasury of the Bunge & Born group.
