Domingo Valdés, is a lawyer with a degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the University of Chile. He also holds a Master’s in Law from the University of Chicago and an MPL Degree from Yale University.
Between 1993 and 1997, Valdés was the attorney in charge of the International Area of Chilectra S.A. He later worked as an attorney at the law firms of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and Chadbourne & Parke in New York.
When he returned to Chile, he became the legal advisor to Enersis S.A. and lead attorney for Edesur S.A. (Argentina).
Since 1999, he served as Legal Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Enel Chile and Enel Américas. He has also been Chairman of the Board of the public limited company Enel Transmisión Chile S.A. during fiscal years 2021 and 2022.
