Beatriz Saiz Marti is a Spanish lawyer with a distinguished international career in the legal and corporate fields, particularly in the energy sector and international arbitration. Born in Valencia, Spain, she holds a law degree from CEU San Pablo University and a master’s in European economics and law from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. She has also completed executive and specialized programs, including the Leadership for Energy Management Program at IESE Business School and Università Bocconi, as well as advanced training in arbitration and international investment.
Over more than two decades, she has built her career at major multinational companies and international firms, establishing herself as an expert in complex litigation, corporate matters, and energy regulation. She currently serves as Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs at Enel Commercial. She has previously held various leadership roles within the Enel Group, including Head of Legal and Corporate Europe, Head of Corporate Affairs and O&M at Enel Green Power & Thermal Generation, and Head of Group Significant Litigation.
Previously, she held legal responsibilities at other companies in Italy and began her career at renowned firms in Brussels and Milan, which gave her a solid international perspective in corporate and community law.
Alongside her professional activities, Beatriz Saiz Martí maintains an active involvement with prestigious institutions in international arbitration. She is Vice-President of the Steering Committee of ICC Italy and serves on the Steering Committee of the International Arbitration Pledge.
In the field of corporate governance, she stands out for her role as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Servizio Elettrico Nazionale S.p.A. and as a member of the Board of Directors of Enel X S.r.l.
