Roberto Antonio Enzo Deambrogio has been responsible for the Rest of the World area since December 2024. In 2024, he was responsible for the Other Countries area, coming from an experience as Enel's Global Head of Communication from 2019 to 2023. In 2015, he was appointed head of the Group's Eastern Europe area, a role that was expanded in April 2016 to cover Europe and North Africa. Previously, he worked at Enel Green Power, where he was head of operations in Italy and Europe since 2010, in addition to being responsible for South Africa and Morocco.
Deambrogio began his experience in the Enel Group in 2005. Initially, he worked as assistant to the CEO for international activities and, from 2006 to 2008, he was responsible for renewable energy development within the International Division, prior to joining Enel Green Power, where he was responsible for business development from 2009 to 2010.
Prior to joining Enel, Deambrogio worked at Pirelli and Bain & Company, where - from 1998 to 2000 and again from 2002 to 2005 - he was in charge of strategic consulting, following numerous multinational operators in the sector and working for several of the company's offices in Europe and Latin America. In 2001, he worked in the London office of Merrill Lynch, in the Investment Banking division.
He holds a degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University in Milan and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.
