Enel Américas reaches fourth place in the Reporta 2020 Report

·         The company advanced from 11th place to 4th place in the ranking that analyzes the quality of financial and non-financial information that make up the IPSA provided by the companies to its various stakeholders.

 

The Reporta Chile 2020 Report carried out by the Spanish consulting firm, Deva, an international agency specializing in corporate reputation which measures companies listed on the IPSA, positioned Enel Américas in 4th place in the ranking, one of the companies that climbed the most compared to the 2019 version, the year in which it ranked inr 11th place.

The results of the Reporta Chile 2020 Report ratify the commitment and efforts made by Enel Américas to provide transparent and active information to its shareholders, in line with the values that inspire the company and the Enel Group.

Reporta Chile measures several aspects:   

- Transparency: the economic, financial, and operational information is complete and shows the Company’s performance in this area and its future prospects.

- Commitment: the information related to environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) aspects is complete and shows the Company’s degree of commitment with the stakeholders affected by its activities and with sustainable development.

-Relevance: the information covers all the economic, social, and environmental impacts derived from the Company’s activities that decisively influence the evaluations and decisions of the stakeholders with which it is related.

- Accessibility: the information is presented in a clear and accessible manner for the different audiences to which it is directed and uses the available communication technologies.

Created in 2010 with companies listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange (IGBM) and replicated in Chile as of 2016 with companies that are listed on the Santiago Stock Exchange (IPSA), the Reporta Report analyzes the quality of financial, non- financial, environmental, social, and governance information that companies make available to their shareholders and interest groups on the occasion of holding each ordinary annual shareholders meeting. This ranking is carried out using its own methodology that assesses the willingness to report beyond compliance with current regulations, as is being done by Enel Américas.

The Reporta Chile Report has become a reference standard for reporting quality in Spain and Chile.
