Santiago, May 28, 2025. The Board of Directors of Enel Americas issued a material event disclosure this afternoon to announce that the company’s current CEO, Aurelio Bustilho, has submitted his resignation as of July 1st due to personal reasons.
Aurelio Bustilho took over as CEO of Enel Americas in 2023, after having served as the company’s CFO for five years.

The Board has appointed Giuseppe Turchiarelli, current CEO of Enel Chile, as the new CEO of Enel Americas. Giuseppe Turchiarelli holds degrees in Economics and Business and an MBA from LUISS Business School. He first joined the Enel Group in 1998 and has held several positions throughout his career, including: Head of Planning and Control for Italy, Head of Planning and Control at Enel Green Power, CFO of Enel Green Power for the Iberia and Latin America region, CFO for Europe and North Africa, and CFO of Enel Chile. He will assume the role of CEO of Enel Americas on July 1st.
