Enel Américas participates in electricity generation in Peru through its subsidiary Enel Generación Perú, a company in which it has a combined direct and indirect stake of 58.6%. It also directly controls 96.5% of Enel Generación Piura.
Through these two subsidiaries, Enel Américas possesses an installed capacity of 1,983 MW in Peru, representing 21% of the country’s total installed capacity of 9,570 MW. In terms of energy generation, the Group accounted for 20.1% of the total generated in the country.
Other generation companies that participate in the Peruvian grid include Electroperú, Enersur and Kallpa Generación.
