Enel Américas participates in power generation through Enel Brasil and its subsidiaries Enel Green Power Cachoeira, Volta Grande and Enel Generación Fortaleza. Of these three generation plants, two are hydroelectric and the other thermal, and have a total net power of 1,354 MW, representing 1.0% of the capacity of the Brazilian SIN. The Group's electricity generation in Brazil reached 4,823 GWh, achieving 1.0% of the total generated in that country (thermoelectric plus hydroelectric), with hydroelectric production in 2020 being 96% of the total generated by Enel Américas in Brazil .
Enel Américas participates in the distribution of electricity through Enel Brasil and its subsidiaries Enel Distribución Rio, Enel Distribución Ceará, Enel Distribución Goiás and Enel Distribución São Paulo.
Enel Américas also participates in the transmission and commercialization of electricity in Brazil through the line of interconnection between Argentina and Brazil. It does it through Enel Cien company, where it owns almost 100% of the property.
